Survival - A Quest to HappYness?

Taiwan, indeed, a very fascinating place where one could fall in love with it almost instantaneously for it hospitality. Living here for merely over 2 weeks has already gotten me to formulate some kind of future plan to start a business here. A business that is non-profit base and aim to provide education for children in need. What I see in Taiwan is that it is a place where humility and modern life-style intertwine incessantly to create an surprisingly exciting fusion of human interaction. People here understand the true meaning of "keep going" no matter how tired you are. At the same time, they don't forget about their friends. Not that they will use them, probably in some monetary degree, but to use them as their teacher, perhaps mentor. Their willingness to share their experiences and talk about the possibilities to survive in Taiwan touches my heart.
I've been a survivor for almost 10 years now. During these years, I have always look for something that can make me a stronger person, perhaps better person. The casual gathering that we had last night lifted me up to a place where it shook me to be on my feet and keep my eyes open for possibilities to success. A success that is not defined by my stay in Taiwan. But, the things that I should be doing to keep myself happy with the time I have left in Taiwan.
I'm so blessed and grateful to have met these friends and their acceptance of my present in their life truly awes me. Thank you so much my friends. I am humbled by your kindness and generosity.
